Denise is a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and has had her work published in journals, chapbooks and anthologies. She has written a weekly cooking column for the past 12 years and her most recent book, A Culinary History of Southern Delaware was published by the American Palate imprint of the History Press in 2016.



Denise has presented at many SF Conventions with a focus on food. Her topics range from the Food of Star Trek to interactive writing workshops on world building through feeding the inhabitants of speculative worlds.
