Daniel M. Hoyt is a systems architect for rocket trajectory software, when not writing or wrangling royalty calculations for indie presses. Since his first sale to Analog, Dan has appeared in other magazines and anthologies, notably Witch Way to the Mall, Strip Mauled, and Fangs for the Mammaries (Baen), and Mike Brotherton's groundbreaking Diamonds in the Sky. Dan has also edited a couple DAW anthologies, Fate Fantastic and Better Off Undead. His debut space opera, Ninth Euclid's Prince, launched in 2015; sequels are underway.
