Bill has been a professor, teacher, corporate executive, college dean, board game and computer game designer. As a book packager for major publishers he created and edited over 400 books. He has collaborated on the Mycroft Holmes, Ian Fleming, and Madame Vernet mysteries.  His non-fiction books include Hunters and Shooters and The Teams, histories of the Navy SEALs and Making Contact: a UFO handbook).  Bill also has edited/ written over a dozen books about great mistakes in history including How To Lose a War, The 100 Mistakes that Changed History and 101 Stumbles in the March of History.
