D.S. Watson
Author
D.S. Watson started his professional writing career as a reporter for the Shelbyville Times Gazette. He also worked for the U.S.D.A Forest Service, and as a writer-editor for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Eventually, he became a lawyer where he worked briefly in environmental law. He rejoined the federal government and wrote disability opinions for the Social Security Administration, and various opinions as a U.S. Army contracts lawyer. As a short-story writer, he has three honorable mentions and a semi-finalist award in the Writers of the Future contest. His first novel, REFUGEE, is the first book of the six-book Space Fleet Academy Series. His website is dswatson.xyz.
