David B. Coe is the author of thirty novels and as many short stories. He has written epic fantasy – including the Crawford Award-winning LonTobyn Chronicle – contemporary urban fantasy, and media tie-ins. Most recently he has published The Chalice War trilogy, a contemporary urban fantasy steeped in Celtic mythology.

As D.B. Jackson, he writes the Thieftaker Chronicles, a historical urban fantasy set in pre-Revolutionary Boston, as well as the Islevale Cycle, a time travel/epic fantasy trilogy.

David has also edited five speculative fiction anthologies. He has a Ph.D. in U.S. history from Stanford University. His books have been translated into a dozen languages.
