Jonathan is a retired Marine Corps infantry colonel and now a full-time hybrid writer living in Colorado Springs with his wife Kiwi and five-year-old daughters, Danika Dawn and Darika Marie.  He writes military scifi,  military fiction, paranormal, YA, health and fitness, and historical fiction with over 100 published titles. He is a USA Today Bestseller, a two-time Nebula Award finalist, and two-time Dragon Award finalist. He is currently serving as the Science Fiction and Fantasy Association’s CFO.

Jonathan is a member of the VFW, the Disabled American Veterans, and SFWA.  When he isn’t writing, he’s in the gym, going to cons, cooking, or being run ragged by his girls (who are the light of his life).
