Stacy grew up painting and drawing on anything that would sit still. Attending high school at Alabama School of Fine Arts and receiving her BFA from the University of Montevallo with a concentration in painting and ceramics, Stacy has had a lifelong obsession with creating art. Now working as a full-time potter, Stacy focuses on making beautiful, functional stoneware pottery including dinnerware, skull jars, sculpture, home decor and knitting bowls that bring the beauty of art to everyday life. When her hands aren't covered in clay, Stacy spends her time painting, gardening, and obeying her cats. S.P. Morgan Studio pottery is all created from Stacy's original designs, individually hand made, and high-fired resulting in a beautiful, durable piece of art that can stand up to the uses of daily life.
