David Alan Jones is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an Arabic linguist, a role that sharpened his ear for language and deepened his appreciation for complex storytelling. A 2016 Writers of the Future Silver Honorable Mention recipient, David writes across multiple speculative fiction genres, including science fiction, military sci-fi, fantasy, and urban fantasy.

He is the author of Scholarship, published by Theogony Press, as well as three novels set in the Salvage Title universe. When he’s not crafting tales of adventure and intrigue, David applies his analytical skills as a programmer for Uncle Sam. Above all, he is a devoted husband and father of three, balancing the chaos of family life with the boundless worlds of his imagination.
