Author

Philip Ligon has been trying to satisfy the writing bug that took hold since before he can remember. He fell in love with science fiction and fantasy in high school and began dabbling with writing fantastical stories, a passion which continues to this day. Adding an engineering background – and a love of history – made the Steampunk genre a natural fit. Thus far, it has resulted in the Engine Series, a Steampunk-Fantasy tale set in Victorian-era England, and the Award-winning, on-going Falconbone Series, a Steampunk-Pirate adventure series for all ages. He has also released a Dark Fantasy novella, and has more Fantasy tales in the works.

Philip lives among the hills and valleys of north Alabama. It is the place where science brings to reality what was once considered impossible dreams and far- flung ideas.
