As far as life, I did a little bit of everything while trying to cobb together a career of some kind. Somehow, I never managed to get married; on the other hand, I didn’t end up in jail, either. I started my professional writing career as a reporter for the Shelbyville Times Gazette. I also worked for the U.S.D.A Forest Service where I wrote responses to Congressional inquiries; worked as a writer-editor for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; wrote disability opinions for the Social Security Administration; and wrote various unappreciated opinions for the U.S. Army as a contracts lawyer. I currently live in Huntsville, Alabama where I work on music, writing, gardening, and occasionally going to the gym.
