J. Kenton Pierce’s Science Fiction short stories and novels known collectively as the Tales from the Long Night. His debut novel, A Kiss for Damocles, is currently a finalist for the 2026 Prometheus Award for Best Novel.  He lives near Pittsburgh and enjoys writing, shooting, and cheese. His stories have been published in Abyss & Apex, the Grantville Gazette Baen's Universe Annex, and several Raconteur Press anthologies.
