Megan Miller holds a Masters of Science from NC State University and is a proud PhD dropout from the University of Arizona at Tucson. She is currently the Executive Director of one of the largest non-profits fighting food scarcity in western North Carolina. A mother, stand-up comedian, mental health reform advocate, and former foster mother, Ms. Miller has managed a large psychiatric practice, was named Project Director for the North Carolina Governor’s Crime Commission, worked for several US politicians and federal bureaus, broken a glass ceiling in a multinational corporation, and even nannied for the Kennedy family in college. Megan writes nonfiction, science fiction, fantasy, cozy fantasies and mysteries, and horror. A classically trained artist, Megan loves to paint when she can find the time.  She spends most of her time fighting off psychopaths and horny gorillas (if you know, you know), and resisting the urge to adopt all the homeless pets. Do not ask her how she does it all, because she has no idea.
