Scott Swoope is a speculative fiction writer whose work blends the sweep of history with the imagination of science fiction and fantasy. His stories explore power, loyalty, and the human cost of ambition across worlds both ancient and futuristic.

When he’s not writing, Scott works as an insurance claims adjuster, studies Roman history, and develops new story worlds ranging from cozy mysteries to military science fiction.

He lives in South Carolina with his wife and son, who has already been recruited as the family’s unofficial mascot.
