Author

Wally Waltner is a tech consulting executive and gentleman science fiction/fantasy author.  Born and raised on a farm in South Dakota, his early creative muses led him down a musical path and earned music scholarships and eventually a BMus degree in brass performance from Saint Olaf College.  He is part of the Raconteur Press stable with eight short stories and micro-fiction pieces published in their anthologies.  Wally’s debut novel, Muses' War: Overture of Shadows, was released by Raconteur in May 2025.  Wally is also an avid roleplaying and board gamer, and he volunteers as a regional coordinator for Paizo Publishing's Organized Play program.  He and his wife of 33 years live in Kansas City.
