Author

Having been born in California and raised in Kansas, Scott Huggins grew up as confused as one might expect. He began writing whilst traveling in post-Soviet Russia and Germany, and was one of the 20th Century’s last Writers of the Future (1999). The future arrived immediately thereafter and nothing has been the same for him since.

Huggins has written the saga of the half-dragon Princess Responsibility, beginning with Responsibility of the Crown, as well as the novel All Things Huge and Hideous, chronicling the adventures of James and Harriet, the slightly heroic veterinarians of the Evil Dark Lord who needs them to keep his dragons healthy. Their latest adventure appears in the bestselling anthology No Game For Knights. Huggins is also the only holder of both the Jim Baen Memorial Award, and the Baen Adventure Fantasy Award. He was once given a sword by his fans.
