Mike Baron is a new writer for the next installment of the Black Tide Rising graphic novelization (produced by Hound Dog Media, under license from Baen).

While he's most famous for his Marvel/DC comics writing (The Punisher, The Flash, Conan, Green Lantern) and his award-winning independent Science Fiction comic series Nexus, he is also a prolific and wide-ranging author who has written novels in the pulp/action-adventure, comedy, and horror/dark fantasy genres, and even a non-fiction book about the Jazz-Rock musical phenomenon of the 60s-70s.  He is also dipping his toe into the Mil-SF realm with an upcoming novel co-authored by a Special Forces veteran.

Mike is a two-time Eisner Award winner, and a recipient of the Inkpot Award given by Comic-Con International. He is currently published through Wordfire Press and Liberty Island, and has worked with previous LGOH Timothy Zahn when he adapted Tim's Star Wars Thrawn Trilogy for Dark Horse Comics.
