Devon Eriksen

Author

Devon Eriksen is a recent Chattanooga transplant, marksman, and life-long reader, with a particular fondness for classics from the golden age of science fiction. After growing up with images of the galaxy brought home by his JPL engineer father, he spent most of his career as a software engineer, working on defense, embedded systems, ML, and AI.

While he was dissuaded from becoming a writer in his childhood, retirement from a career in engineering and the unwavering support of his loved ones presented an opportunity to pursue his childhood dream. Eriksen began writing stories with a single overarching goal: to give the reader something to love.

And he hasn't looked back since.

Devon Eriksen's debut novel THEFT OF FIRE, first of the Orbital Space series, was nominated as one of Discover Sci-Fi's best novels of 2023.
