Nancy Edwards has been in fandom for 40+ years and has the stories to back it up.  She was the FGOH at the ninth NASFC, Tuckercon, due to her long friendship with Bob Tucker.  She threw an adult relaxicon for several years called Czarcon  which was totally  non-PC.
